Let Us Help This Couple in Distress

As I was surfing the internet last night, I chanced upon the blog of a couple.  They are seeking help so that their ordeal of almost two years may end.  Someone is trying to extort money from them.  Please take time to read their blog and the least that we can do to help is to post their blog in our Facebook accounts or other social networking sites until their case reaches the proper authorities.

  1. I really hope that this couple would find the justice they're looking for so that the parties involved can move on.

  2. I also have posted this. It looks like you may have seen my post or one that was shared because your wording is similar to mine. I hope somebody in the administration takes notice.

  3. Anonymous,
I have only seen their post in Definitely Filipino and took interest. When I read their blog, I was compelled to help these good-natured people out of their ordeal.

Can you link your post here? If I had read your post, I would have acknowledged it as coming from you.

Let us continue to spread their story until the media picks up. They don't deserve that kind of experience in our country.

  6. This isn't right! The system is so screwed therefore injustice hurts everybody. What a shame?? I just feel so bad to these people. Maybe there's still justice left there and I hope that this couple will find justice soon..

  7. Justice system in our country especially in the lower level of the court system is very much corrupted. It needs the President of the Republic to intervene in order to redirect the mind and attitude of the prosecutors and the judges themselves. They will not attain top you during the inquest but they will prosecute you during the preliminary hearing without asking to present your evidences once your poor and innocent. Poor to have a costly lawyer and innocent because you believed you've done nothing wrong that the country would suffer. Please Mr. President Aquino, end this great ordeal of this couple just to save the very good reputation that you had started to sow.

  8. I was reading through their blog and the more I read and understand the seriousness of their plight, the more I felt ashamed of our so-called justice system. It is supposed to be a system to protect and uphold the rights of anyone in the country-citizen or foreigner, but how could it be so easily bent to serve the evil whims of these extortionists?
