This Special Child Is a Blessing

This really happened this afternoon at the last rites and interment ceremony of a man whose youngest child, Daboy, is autistic.

Scene 1
Church, as the elder daughter was giving her eulogy for her father.  Lumapit si Daboy at pilit inaagaw yung microphone habang nagsasalita si Ate.  Heard over the speakers:  "Oorder ako.  Oorder ako ng Mcdo."

Scene 2
Church, as everyone was crying. Nakita ni Daboy umiiyak ang lahat kaya humagulgol na rin.  Then, sabi niya sa katabi niya, "Bakit ka umiiyak?"

Scene 3
Cemetery, when the casket was opened for last viewing.  The wife of the deceased was crying aloud.  Sabi ni Daboy, "Mommy, don't cry.  Mommy, don't cry.  Mommy, don't cry for me, Argentina."

Amid all the grief, it was this child who brought comfort to those who were lamenting.
